| skate design project
hey im doing a design project designing wrist protection gloves for skateboarders....not being a skateboarder..i couldnt tell u what the improvements could be..........
any advice/free back would be welcome...cheers!  |

OK,
what is needed is something that is both comfortable and stylish, but alos has to be functional. It needs to allow free use of the hands and wrists but allow the wrist to become injured on impact. it shoudl also not allow the area covered by the wristgaurds to sweat excessivly. theres more im needs to besaid but thats it off my mind.

I know it kindof goes without saying but i'd design something that skateboarders actually want to wear because in my experience i dont think i've ever actually witnessed a skater wearing wristpads. I know no one i skate with does :s I think theres a stigma around wearing them, would be good if you could get around that. Where you studying? I'm doing a Product Design course too. | |

Make it that you can shoot lasers out of your wrists that turn whoever you point it at into whatever animal they closest resemble!
