Picking a snowboard?

Anybody got any idea when the indoor Ski/Snowboard slope is gonna open in Breahead ????? They supposed to be using a snow machine rather than an artifical slope ...

Oh, I should add the best time to by a board is just before the new season. That's when all the new board have come out, and the shops want to get rid of the "old" ones.

Maybe from November onwards. I picked up a really good "2005" board in the January sales.

I've jsut started so it doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me if I've got a "2005 board".

- BITE on Byres Road and in town. (along from Greaves on Gordon St.)
- Greaves sport on Sauchihall St also do snowboards.
- Snow Core on Union St. It's a new shop that just opened, looks a bit shit but they will give you some advice in there.

Bite - Tiny Selecttion
Greaves - Wrong, only gordon st does skis and snowboards, but fuck all snowboards
Snow Core - all old model pish from what I can see.


I wouldnt bother buying a snowboard for at least another couple of months. Prices dont go down until Europe/USA season is over.

Snow Core- I did say it was shit, I told him to check it out for advice.
