| XScape Braehead Opening party! You may or may not know that a new Xscape centre is opening at Brahead this week. There are a couple of these centres across the UK and its pretty exciting news to hear that one is opening up in Glasgow.
Inside there is a real-snow ski slope, aerial assault course, shops, bars, restaurants, a bowling alley and loads more.
This place looks to be an awesome addition to Glasgow and I, for one cant wait to go!!! www.xscape.co.uk Quote: |

To celebrate, Xscape is inviting everyone to a glittering FREE launch event. Come and see live performances by Dannii Minogue and the chart-topping Orson.
But that’s not all – you’ll be entertained by the Kings of Swing Big Band, you’ll be thrilled by Flaming Fun with their unique dance show including spinning, twirling, and fire breathing and you’ll be dazzled by the silk aerial artists.
There will be a spectacular fireworks display over the Clyde and a carnival procession will lead members of the public into the brand new building where the fun will continue with face painting, stilt walkers, magicians, acrobats, and much more.
As if that were not enough, everyone will be able to experience the excitement of the aerial assault course, the climbing wall, the giant robot arm, the fan drop, bowling and, from 9pm, snow tobogganing. After all that, you can relax by doing a spot of shopping or enjoy dinner or a drink in any one of the bars and restaurants.
The entertainment will end at 9pm but the fun will go on within Xscape until late.
The FREE event starts at 6pm and guests are asked to arrive early and wrap up warm. | Sounds pretty cool to me, well worth checking out!

I can't wait to try some of the stuff, I'm gonna wait till it's been open for a while though.

| Re: XScape Braehead My brother and I are booked in to go next week - the website isnt overly helpful though, there isnt clear pricing information regarding gear. For example, if you brought your own boots. I assume they hire stuff, since they do lessons. I'm confused...

| Re: XScape Braehead If its anything like the one in milton keynes, it will have neds, chavs, and generally not very nice people sitting around using up all the space, being noisy, making a mess, and generally being not very nice, like many of the places in glasgow.
Hopefully there will be nice security people to sort out any nasty people who may be there
I hope it goes well, and intend to visit when I get some cashhhhhhhh.
( it will be utterly fookin mobbed for months mind you )
