| Re: BMX - Diamondback Assault. Any good? You'd be best starting with a bike that has the frame you want and adding bits as you go. The Redline BMXs on CRC aren't that great btw.

My current plan is to snag tyres for the one I got for nada, then use those on anything else I buy when I have the funds to do so.
I'm just now wanting to know what, if anything, is worth buying for around the £100 mark - Since there doesn't seem to be much for less than that, and £100 is still a hefty wodge to spend on a piece of shit. |

| Re: BMX - Diamondback Assault. Any good? You won't get anything decent for £100, not even a good frame with a crap spec. I'll find one for you, don't worry

Why's that one particularly good for the money, Sebb?

| Re: BMX - Diamondback Assault. Any good? Its not !! the frame is not full cro-mo and the parts are all generic, not as strong as a more expensive bike...theres a DK 6-pack on the same site which would be a better buy,15 quid more in price...i would not touch a perv bike unless it was top spec...check out complete bike ranges from F-it, Federal, We the People,DK.....jesus even the entry level Haro would be a better bet....depends what you are gonna do with the thing, ride to work and back or thrash it down the skatepark..A CHEAP BIKE WILL NOT STAND UP TO ANY ABUSE... |
