Square Enix announced the other day that Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been put on hold so they can concentrate on developing XIII.
It's worth noting that Square have been announcing a good few new games of late, so this may not end up with XIII getting out any quicker.

Can't fault them for lack out output anyway!
