| Best Blitzball Team Blitzball - You love it really, even the first game, no, really.
I didn't at the start, effing Luca Goers, wanktards. Then I realised that you HAD to do this to get Wakkas Attack Reels etc etc. So fuck it, had a crack at it. Once I found the right team though, was worth it
My team -
LF - Tidus
RF - Wakka
Mid - Brother
LD - Lakkam
RD - Ropp
GK - Keepa
Great team, especially Brother, his speed is good, oh aye. Well needed.
Best score - 18-0 against Kilika Beasts
Your best teams/best scores kids? Just asking because nearly ALL of the 'hints' out there say to use a Ronso for Midfield etc....

| Re: Best Blitzball Team I played one league and won it with the original team.
Best score is a measly 4-0, but against Luca Goers! (Y)
Had Keepa and Tidus at Level 14, sacked Letty, and it won't let me back in... |

| Re: Best Blitzball Team Learning the Jecht Shot is a must if you want to win the game at the start against the Luca Goers.
Shame really, once you have a good team, they become pish. Best challenge is from the Al Bhed. They always seem to keep up with me. |

| Re: Best Blitzball Team Right, involves having Brother as your MF. It makes life a lot easier if he wins the blitzoff.
When he grabs the ball, (assuming you are playing the Ronso team in this example) simply swim past their MF, and then past all the other members of the team, close enough so they follow you. They will all give chase. Leaving your two strikers unattended ( )
Get a good gap and simply pass to one of them, clean shot on goal. Best if you pass to Tidus as he is faster.
This should work all the time, even against the Guados and the Al Bhed, who can keep up with you. Obv the faster he (Brother) gets, the better. the MF player always levels up faster than anything else...
Best. Works for me anyway. |

| Re: Best Blitzball Team I must admit, the first game against the Luca Goers is stupidly hard. It can be very off putting. It did it for me. After that I was like 'ppfffft fuck that' and was glad it was an optional 'side quest'.
But by sticking by it, and try try try again, I got there.

| Re: Best Blitzball Team haha.
I'm paused on one TV for FF-10.
And thinking of starting FF7 on another.
Got FF soundtrack on the hifi, and a snes emulator running FF6 on the computer.
Osessed?

| Re: Best Blitzball Team Fuck, I can't even check, I've misplaced the disc.
Um. I have Tidus and Wakka on the left and right. Nimrook in goal, he has *monster* CA. Wedge is one defender, the other is, uh, a female ex Al-Bhed Psyche. Lakkam? Kyou in midfield, he's amazing. Nap Tackle 3 = fun. Everyone's in the region of level 50-60, and the game's no fun any more. After a while, the only upper limit on your score becomes how long it takes to swim forwards, shoot, restart, tackle, swim forwards, shoot...

| Re: Best Blitzball Team HA!
That Blitz team is pathetic (no offence). The best team by far and away is this:
LF: Tidus
RF: Argai Ronso
MF: Brother
LD: Naida
RD: Judda
GK: Miyu
The highest score i have ever achieved is 9-0 against the Kilika Beasts. Although that may not be a hugely impressive score, however i haven't conceded for 6 seasons and 7 tournaments straight (and counting).
That Brother move works, run the entire team into your defence then pass! It works well with Argai, hes so slow to follow he's near enough still at their goal when you pass!
Anyone having trouble with blitz should stick Wedge upfront, he cant pass but my goodness can he shoot and he has loads of END too!
I consider myself well knowledged on blitz, anyone wants advice just let me know, il be very happy to help ! |
