Wee tin of baked beans
Uncle Bens sachet of Spicey Mexican Rice
Bung the mince in a pan with some oil, heat till softened. Add in the beans and a few teaspoons of chilli powder. Heat the rice in the micro and bring all the ingredients together. A yummy, quick veggie chilli! |

tomato chutney/sauce/whatever
cheese
Toast one side. Apply tomato-based whateverthefuck and cheese. Toast. Eat. For best results, grate the cheese and mix with tomato sauce first.

| Re: Take 3 ingredients, make a meal. what you need
chicken breasts / uncooked chicken of some description.
rosemary
oranges
stick the chicken in an overproof dish. sprinkle with rosemary.
cut the oranges in half and sqeeze out all the juice, stick in some fleshy bits of orange and bung in the oven till chicken is cooked
You can even cheat and stick it in the microwave or if you only have one orange add fresh orange juice too
et voila. Orange and rosemary chicken
and just to be difficult, I use half milk half water when I'm making omlettes
another one I like leftover boiled rice from the night before
an egg
chinese 5 spices powder 9it lives in my cupboard anyway
salt
bung the leftover rice in a wok or frying pan if you don't have one. Make sure the wok's hot before you do this, you don't need much oil though.
Bung in some 5 spices powder to taste and the egg
keep stirring the whole time till it resembles egg fried rice obv!
If it sticks to the wok/pan add some water instead of more oil to stop it.
Sorted.
garam masala also works as a good seasoning on leftover rice
hm... have an amazing authentic sweet and sour sauce recipe somewhere which is basically cornflour, water, vinegar tomato puree and honey and suchlike, basically random stuff I keep in my cupboard. not sure everyone would though.
Shall dig it out and post it up anyway. It's a great one for going with leftover rice/ cold cooked chicken etc. |
