| Re: Cocktails.. I read in some magazine that a Long Island Iced Tea has 720 calories, surely that can't be right.
Some of the cocktails we do in my work are yummy, but I'm not a massive fan of them in general. Mainly cos I'm such a cheapskate, seems a bit too indulgent paying £4-odd on a single drink. |

Noway can there be 720 calories .Not that I should be concerned, I only have like 1 a year.
I like the novelty of drinking cocktails when I can afford to. They get me pretty drunk though, maybe because of mixing different types of alcohol.

| Re: Cocktails.. It's not really cocktail but here's a wee tip if yer on the Guinness:
If yer on the Guinness you generally fall behind a wee bit. And after about four or five rounds you find you've got the best part of a pint left when it's your shout and everyone's waiting. Get a tequilla and blackcurrant and chuck it into yer Guinness. Tastes lovely.

Minging stuff, poor mans kahlua. | Err, Kahlua and Bailey's are two different tastes.
Kahlua is a coffee liqueur, Bailey's is a mix of whisky, cream, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, sugar, and some other ingredients that definitely aren't coffee.
Undoubtedly the worst shot to do to a person is the cement mixer.
Fill a shot glass half full with lime juice. Layer over the back of a spoon a half-shot of Bailey's.
Instruct the person to shoot it and swirl their tongue around like a cement mixer, feeling the lime and Bailey's curdle into lumps on the back of the throat until done.
Cocktails-wise I was drinking strawberry margaritas last night followed by a Tequila Sunrise (Tequila, orange juice, peach schnapps, and a dash of grenadine for colour/sweetness) |

I might, depending on what it was.
