| How bad was it? (Christmas excess) Warning: this is NOT the place to whinge about how much weight you've put on over Christmas. I'm sure a new weight loss thread will pop up shortly for that. This is a thread to discuss what utter delights you crammed down your gullet this Christmas, and how you aren't in the least bit sorry.
Along with the usual intake of beers and my festive tipple of choice, malibu and cranberry, I'm a HUGE sucker for chocolate or yoghurt coated pretzels. And Pringles. Lots of them. I also nearly died of turkey overdose on Christmas Day and was actually still full 24 hours later, but managed to squeeze in a big bowl of mum's home made triffle. I've been grazing on jelly babies and mince pies ever since, and I'm not even a little sorry. It was totally worth it
What was your guilty excess like this year?

| Re: How bad was it? (Christmas excess) Mashed potato and Terry's Chocolate Orange were my weapons of choice.
And, for some bizarre reason, hummous. |

He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fook's. Going to get a big dish of beef chow mein. |

| Re: How bad was it? (Christmas excess) I wasn't that excessive in my food consumption, but I drank four cans of Guinness and a whole bottle of something very cheap on Christmas night and got quite trollied. This amused me.

| Re: How bad was it? (Christmas excess) The worst part is that I didn't even make a dent in the festive booze supplies. I came home on Christmas Eve and Mum says:
"I got the Christmas drinks in. You've got a bottle of Jack Daniels, one of Malibu, one of vodka and some beers"
"How many beers?"
"Five boxes. They were on offer"
That's right. I haven't even touched the bourbon or vodka =/ I think I'll be being very generous at whatever New Year's event I end up at!

| Re: How bad was it? (Christmas excess) This Christmas I got really annoyed at many family members' excuses of "I'm full." The whole idea is that you go beyond full until you nearly make yourself sick.
This backfired on me somewhat. I was still comfortably picking away at leftovers right up until I went to bed, but woke up a few hours later with The Worst Stomachache Ever. Was sure I was going to vomit and / or die.
Totally worth it, but. My favourite indulgence was getting to have a bit of dumpling FRIED for breakfast on Boxing Day. I never learn. |

| Re: How bad was it? (Christmas excess) Roses chocolates, ate far too many. Also bread, not something I eat a lot of and I've gone thru' an entire loaf all by myself. |
