In all seriousness though, a knife sharpener is a good investment. I could cut diamonds with my crappy Ikea knives after I've put them through that thing.

I've started collecting Good Grip knives which are reasonable. I've never used a 'good' knife so I wouldn't know the difference.

I have an excellent sharpener. The problem is cheap knives will break/score/generally need replaced in a few years. A good set of knives will last forever. So far Global are winning out

Sorry but I cant fin that deal. If you find somwehere that sells the BBC Good Food magazine it might be in it. They tend to offer this deal every few months but I dont know if it's in this months or not.
