| Last restaurant you ate in? What was the last restaurant you ate in? What did you have?
Feel free to add any comments if you wish!
I'll start.
Thai Orchid
I had: spring rolls and chicken fried rice (adventurous )
Not bad, 2 course lunch for £7.95. Very attentive staff though. |

it tastes like their take away (funny that) but you pay 2 quid more for their plastic plants and staff that look a bit special. |

| Re: Last restaurant you ate in? Howies (Victoria Street, Edinburgh). I started with haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky sauce (which, fortunately, kept in the tradition of whisky sauces tasting fuck-all like they purport to) and then battered whiting with chips and mushy peas. I was hungover, and dismayed about my lunch-date's attitude toward 2pm wine, but still had fun.

| Re: Last restaurant you ate in? Phoenix Park where I work. We all got to have a free meal to see how everything should be carried out. Not to plug the place but it was gorgeous food.

Yey for seafood. | Factor in a bottle of win and staying and having a few drinks too, that's not a ridiculous amount.

| Re: Last restaurant you ate in? I can't remember the name of the place but Steve and I last went to a steak place in merchant square. Food was fantastic, and since I wasn't paying I paid no heed to the bill. Quote:

Mind you that's taking into consideration that it's a 3 course meal, a couple of large glasses of wine each and a £10 tip if I was pleased with the place.
