I'm meant to be helping organise a work dinner out for Thursday and we were looking into going somewhere in the South Side. I KNOW that there is a good Indian restaurant that people keep recommending to me in the South Side but for the life of me I can't remember it's name.
Any ideas?
Shimla Pink?
Do it or don't. I've got places to be.
Shimla Pink's isn't that good though... go to Balbir's, 61 Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands.
I was just about to add that.
I've never been myself so I can't offer a personal rec.
But I've heard people chatting about it for years.
Do it or don't. I've got places to be.
Ooo, I didn't realise there was a Balbirs in the South Side - I think that'll be just the ticket. Cheers Jackie![]()
The best Indian places are in the Merchant City these days, which is just odd.
The interval between birth and death is fractal. Any given moment is infinitely deep and rich, and therefore one lifetime is quite enough for me.
The best indian is actually in Bearsden.
It's just a take away but the food is some of the best I've tasted.
The spiced onions are out of this world.
Do it or don't. I've got places to be.
