Why not just play in a league you nowt about, like Brazil or something?

3rd season with Hibs and it's going tragically wrong - won my first 8 games on the bounce and as soon as I started thinking 'yas, I'm winning the league this year' I went on a 10 game run without a win. | |

Started a new season with Newcastle.
Came 2nd in my first season and won the UEFA cup.
The wage bill was 70k a week OVER and I had 200k to spend.
I shipped out N'Zogbia (3.9Million) and dished out new lower contracts to those who'd sign them.
I brought in Stephen Warnock, Petri Pasenen and Ole Ole Gunner .
Only Warnock got a place in my starting XI.
Personally, I hold it as one of my better seasons.

I found starting with newcastle easy...
always wanted to get rid of bramble and butt straight away, but no one would take them, and by the end of the season, they were by far my best players.. (and martins)

I've never done Newcastel before, I assumed it'd be difficult considering they've got 0 cash and they're in heavy debt.

You're right about those players though. | Money problems come down to whether u want to get rid of owen or not in the first season... i shipped him after he got over his injury, and then went on the up and up... he got injured 6 months later anyways...

Started a new game last week, put in all the latest transfers (took fucking ages) and went Portsmouth. Signed Darren Bent and David Nugent at the beginning of the season and managed a 6th place finish in my first season. I managed to get Tal Ben Haim off Chelsea for £700k and Kalou on loan (he's pretty awesome, first time I've had him).
I've bought Beasley (he's also excellent) and Maduro and loaned Kalou for another season along with Anderson from Man Utd. Started the second season pretty well, sitting 4th after about 8 games - unbeaten so far. | |
