...but when I'm playing FM2008 and hit continue, it skips days before coming back in, sometimes only because I have a media comment or the like to make. How can I make it a shorter time skip? Ta much.

I can't give full time team talks cause of this, nor can I negotiate with contracts as it forces it to the news screen. No-one else have this issue?

Aye I might, I've just hit normal season so better now than later*. It's weird, forces me to continue even when on news, just clicks on.

*re-doing my training, scouting and coaches is a pain though.

There's an option called 'match day experience' in the preferences, fuck knows what it does but at a guess it might remove some of the match day options.

After reinstalling I started a new game and I swear to God I ain't touched it, it's now Nov 17th and it's still going.

Righto I think I've found the problem, there's a setting called "Continue game timeout" in preferences and it was set to instant. I'm hopeful that moving this to disabled will fix the problem.

I'd recommend to everyone that they get the beta patch, the amount of red cards without it is frightening.
