I started a game running only the Scottish leagues and with it set to automatic I didn't get a job after four seasons, so I got fed up with that and set it to Semi-Pro so I could actually manage someone!
After one season went past the Kilmarnock job became available. Only problem being that they'd just been relegated and the idiot manager before me had decided to not bother bringing anyone in, and had sold some of the best players.
First up, my team:
First game in charge, against Hamilton:
That's right, baby. I knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup:
AND Hibs:
OOPS, and I beat Celtic in the Final of the Scottish Cup to top it off:
While that was going on I also managed to win the First Division:
Which was even more impressive considering the new club record I set of 17 games unbeaten:
Now to show my career stats so far, including turning a profit transfer-wise:
Lastly my tactic for the season:
Tl;dr version: I ripped apart the first division in Scotland and beat the big teams to win the Scottish Cup, thus getting me into the UEFA Cup and the SPL in my second season. Also got the club out of debt by using the transfer market, so the UEFA Cup money will give me a nice transfer kitty at the end of the second season.
Again, apologies for cheating slightly, but the Scottish Leagues are almost impossible to get into from unemployed when on Automatic. I'll do a proper run in the English leagues with the lower divisions turned on too.
