7 youth or senior internationals in your first team squad, with a maximum of four senior internationals. (Non-US, of course.) Not to mention a transfer system that is bonkers, you buy someone by offering 'draft picks'.
I
do quite like the free transfer system though, when releasing a player there are two days where another team can pick him up, with the teams who finished lower in the MLS getting first dibs! I found this out when Landon Donovan was being released and he went to fucking FC Toronto.
e: That didn't make much sense. An example of the free transfer system:
If LA Galaxy released David Beckham then there would be two days where teams can 'claim his registration' and sign him, in that two day period when clubs go in for him the team who finished lowest in the MLS the previous season gets him. After the two days if he doesn't have a club then it's the same as Scotland or England where someone can just go in for him 'cos he's a free agent, BUT his registration is still held with the club that he was with so you have to offer them
something. (I can't remember if it's till the end of the season, or fully to the end of the contract of the player.)
