The demo is being released at midnight on Sunday, the full game will be released on the 14th November.

Quote:
Improved Media – SI have worked hard to reflect the greater impact the media has been having in recent years on the world of football, in the in-game dealings with the press. The game now features more news stories, more detail and greater media interaction than ever before.

Board Confidence – Following on from its addition in Football Manager™ 2008, board confidence has been expanded and improved. In addition, the board will now also feedback to you on your squad harmony and the club’s stature in the football world.

Realistic Finances – SI have listened to feedback from all of their researchers to try and model every single financial area of the game correctly for each country, including transfers, staff wages, budgets, ticket prices, season tickets, competition bonuses and club sponsorships.

Updated Competitions – Fully updated for the new 2008/09 football season with all the latest league, club and player data, featuring over 5,000 playable clubs from over 50 countries, and around 350,000 players and staff from around the world, drawn fresh from the famous Sports Interactive database.

Transfer System – Completely new and re-written transfer system code, providing an even more realistic simulation of real-life football transfers.

The 3D game day looks magic.

I read an article today which says that a Premier League team relied on the games info when looking for additions to there squad and they are willing to go on record and admit it

I reckon Everton have been signing players off the back of Champ Man/Football Manager for years. Ibrahim Bakayoko anyone?!

There was a coach hired to chelsea because of it. Can't mind his name.

Really enjoying the game. Was struggling a bit with my tactics at the start but I really like the wee assistant manager feedback section and have managed to hone my tactic using it for advice. Been doing much better recently.

My forms all over the shop, I'm finding it hard to string a couple of decent performances together.

Re: Football Manager 2009 - 3D!!!

After losing my opening game of the season I have went on a run of 8 wins and 2 draws. Pretty happy with that. Champions League is a little trickier mind.

Re: Football Manager 2009 - 3D!!!

Finished first season with Celtic, won the league at a canter but Rangers won both domestic cups. Made it through the CL group stage and Porto beat me in the 2nd Round.

Signed Pavel Pogrebnyak from Zenit for £7m and Ferreira from Chelsea for £1.8m, both are excellent - big Pavel hit nearly 30 goals for the season along with JVOH.

Julio Baptista is joining me for the 2nd season, Roma were punting him for free

Re: Football Manager 2009 - 3D!!!

Finished my first season as Shrewsbury Town. Won League 2 and the Johnstones paint.

Star buys were Serge N'Gal for 22k from Gimnastic. John Ruddy free from Everton and Seyfo Soley on a free.
