| Football Manager 2010. Right, game's oot.
Thought we'd start a thread.
Really liking the improvements to this edition.
The tactics are much better and the touchline "shouts" are a great addition.
There is still one basic flaw for me and it's with regard to player quality in respective leagues.
I, for instance, sent a scout to watch Jermaine Beckford (for Celtic) and was reported back that he's no better than Samaras and wouldn't be worth buying. Where as, Beckford is currently pissing it down south and would do well up here.
(I dunno if that's the best example)
Basically what I'm saying is, that a striker with good attributes and 10-13 finnishing would score plenty up here.
Where as your scouts would tell you he's not worth buying.

| Re: Football Manager 2010. I'm liking it, I agree with you Jaemi with the scouting it seems to universal and not based on how good the league they are coming to is.
Another thing is the players you can sign, 1st season with Celtic and you can sign Beckham for 500k would never happen.
Other than that it's good liking the new menu layout.

There aren't many big changes but all the little ones add up and make the whole game much better.
Marc Antoine Fortune scored 50 Goals for me in his first season.
I've been playing 4-3-3 with Celtic.

| Re: Football Manager 2010. Quite liking it so far, I like the new UI other than one or two minor grumbles. Looking forward to some new skins coming out though, the one provided is a bit bland.
Started as Dundee for a bit of a challenge, got Bobo Balde on a free and a few loan players. Struggling to find a decent formation though - is it just me or do you have to reapply the touchline instructions in every game? |

| Re: Football Manager 2010. Yeah the touchline instructions are just meant to be you shouting onto the pitch. So you have to re-apply them every game if you wish to use them. |

| Re: Football Manager 2010. Bit daft, I want my players to get stuck in in all games. There's some that you would only really use if you watched the match in a really slow speed, pass into space and take a breather etc. |

Don't have enough "home grown" players to register for the CL and I can't progress past that "mail" without them.

If you go into your tactics and then at the top change it to team instructions. Click the advanced button at the top and it will change it to the old look instructions. Change tackling to hard and you have the exact same result. |

| Re: Football Manager 2010. Went Man Utd, used the Ronaldo money to buy Silva, Douglas Costa, Marek Hamsik and Edin Dzeko.
Rooney's scored 9 in his first three games and Hamsik is immense.
Just got Morton as a feeder club so sending them all my youngsters to watch them romp the SPL next season. Quote:

If not, bugs in the game are a pure bastard till they update them all out.
