Interestingly enough, Rangers made nothing in bonuses/royalties from JJB as a result of reaching the UEFA cup final as all the bonus clauses are triggered by SPL and CL progress.

It wasn't that strange a deal, the bank wanted guaranteed income independent of footballing fortunes and £18m upfront and a £3m+ every year for the next decade shut them up. Shame they never saw a penny of all those Manchester 08 strips tho as bonuses are not activated by sales figures being met: they're linked to on field successes.

So.. fergie and McGregor got their first game back for the gers today... mcgregor lasted 90 minutes, Fergie lasted 90 seconds.
Why? Because fergie didn't train once in his two week suspension and has torn fibres in his calf in his first bit of exercise in three/four weeks. Few weeks out now for him, never to play for rangers indeed.

Aye totally, shame really cos this time last year he was a hero. I'm sure there's a quote from batman for his status from hero to villain but i can't think of it just now, 10 points for anyone who can get it.
On the other hand, I've heard through the grapevine that Kris Boyd is ACTUALLY moving about at training. Apparently he's the first to have his hand up for doing extra work.
Just a rumour though...
