| Re: The Official Rangers Thread On the face of it, that was a strange deal for Rangers to do.
Until you look at it and realise it means he doesn't have 10years of costs running several Rangers Shops.

| Re: The Official Rangers Thread It wasn't that strange a deal, the bank wanted guaranteed income independent of footballing fortunes and £18m upfront and a £3m+ every year for the next decade shut them up. Shame they never saw a penny of all those Manchester 08 strips tho as bonuses are not activated by sales figures being met: they're linked to on field successes.

| Re: The Official Rangers Thread So.. fergie and McGregor got their first game back for the gers today... mcgregor lasted 90 minutes, Fergie lasted 90 seconds.
Why? Because fergie didn't train once in his two week suspension and has torn fibres in his calf in his first bit of exercise in three/four weeks. Few weeks out now for him, never to play for rangers indeed.

He's treated training like a hoilday.
He should have been out there every day having a run. Instead of sitting aboot his house eating pies and drinking lager.
PRICK.

PRICK. | Yeah...ya called that right mate!!!! A true professional wouldnt be sitting on his arse for two weeks....he should have been in the gym training and trying to get some form of match fitness. Instead it seems like he did fuck all and hoped his, ahem, 'legendary' status at Rangers would carry him through.....epic fail methinks? |

| Re: The Official Rangers Thread Aye totally, shame really cos this time last year he was a hero. I'm sure there's a quote from batman for his status from hero to villain but i can't think of it just now, 10 points for anyone who can get it.
On the other hand, I've heard through the grapevine that Kris Boyd is ACTUALLY moving about at training. Apparently he's the first to have his hand up for doing extra work.
Just a rumour though...

| Re: The Official Rangers Thread Rangers mull over Broadfoot sale: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...rs/8014292.stm Quote:
Rangers have told Kirk Broadfoot's agent that they will consider offers for the defender.
The Scotland international has a year of his contract remaining and the Ibrox club said in January that all their players were available for sale.
Broadfoot's agent had hoped to agree a new deal for the former St Mirren defender with his boyhood heroes.
He had hoped to agree an improved deal, but the club's financial problems have prevented a new contract.
The 24-year-old has featured regularly at right-back for Rangers since moving from the Buddies in 2007.
He arrived at St Mirren from Hibernian in 2002 and marked his Scotland debut with a goal in the World Cup qualifying win over Iceland last September.
