Aye, when he was playing on the right wing for much of that and a lot of those appearances were as a sub. If Nacho plays as a striker every week he gets goals, fact. How many has he scored against Celtic? 6? He scores a lot of goals in Europe.

I don't agree with it myself because i think we should have a big enough squad to beat Gretna and rest our most important players, but anything that helps is a good thing and at least the boys should be rested up for the match. However it means that we will be playing catch-up constantly in the league which is never great.

It's Farce that Rangers should be asking..And getting time off.
You should have a squad capable of coping with the demands. Moreover, you're playing the worst team in the league at a rented ground and you're playing your european match at home.

Tis the season to be cowardly.

I reckon that if Rangers started with Gow, Howard, Naismith, Ehiogu, Broadfoot, Murray, Faye if he's not in jail and Boyd ahead of the regular starters they'd still have beat Gretna. Everybody's happy to postpone it tho so it's a non issue at least until talk of a fixtures pile up crops up next year.

See the French teams they get the games re-arranged to give them the best chance of getting through so I don't see why the SPL can't accomodate our teams in Europe to give them the best chance to go through.

It's a case of strachan not asking for a postponement, and Rangers asking.
