I think it was a bad challenge very late in the game - better safe than sorry.
Yaldie 1-0! |

| Re: Celtic v Benfica Harsh tackle on brown, well in lads, well deserved. And i'll be the first to say, i was wrong about McGeady at the beginning of the season. He put in a great shift today.

| Re: Celtic v Benfica Celtic probably deserved the win overall - Benfica had a few good chances but seemed to run out of steam after 60-65 minutes. The tackle on Brown was disgusting - i hope he's ok for the Scotland game, still can't believe his leg isn't in 2 pieces. |

| Re: Celtic v Benfica McGeady was brilliant tonight, from where I was sitting the tackle on Brown didn't look that bad. Obviously I'm a speccy blind bastard though so don't listen to me.

| Re: Celtic v Benfica Heard McGeady had a game and a half. 1-0 win. Congrats.
What happens if it comes down to head to head and its was a 1-0 scoreline for both teams when they faced each other? Goal difference? Probably won't happen but I was wondering about it tonight.

| Re: Celtic v Benfica Head to head if points are even. Plus, it'll most likely be celtic and shaktar fighting for2nd place now, so celtic need to beat them 2-0?
It's manageable, but firstly, celtic do need that away win in order to suceed.
