Er, many hundreds of thousands of editors don't use their userpage. I know, i have a Wiki account. I must admit that never in my life have i thought "i like that wiki page, i really wish there was some way to learn more about the people who contributed information". As long as it doesn't say Fonz wasn't cool then i can live without knowing who wrote it. Its value as reliable source material for anything serious is only slightly higher than that of a copy of The Metro.

God forbid someone should get rid of my extensive catalogue of Wikipedia contributions! Oh, the humanity.

Seriously though, the reason the Fonz seems cool is because the people he hangs about with in Happy Days are much, much bigger dorks than he is. If you were to see him strutting around punching jukeboxes and going "Aaaaaayyy!" in any other context, he'd just come across as a smarmy tit. Present day Henry Winkler, however...
