Do you think there will be more Stranraer players than fans going to Elgin on a wet, miserable Wednesday night?

Guess who could make their début for Motherwell against Aberdeen.

Motherwell have signed former Rangers and Derby County defender Bob Malcolm until the end of the season.

Malcolm, 27, has been searching for a club since being released by the English Premier League side last month.

The Scot, who can also play in midfield, failed to settle at Derby and spent a loan spell at Queen's Park Rangers last November.

Malcolm left Ibrox in September 2006 after falling out of favour under the then Rangers manager Paul Le Guen.

He made 14 appearances for Derby after moving to Pride Park, including one in the Barclays Premier League in this season's 6-0 defeat at Liverpool.

But he was then loaned to QPR in November and played 11 times for the Coca-Cola Championship side.

Motherwell said the club was delighted to sign Malcolm after he showed a willingness to return to Scotland.

Malcolm has been added to Mark McGhee's squad for Wednesday's SPL match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Excellent, that's my coupon fucked then

Ach well, got another one on that only needs 3 teams after Everton and Swansea winning last night (well, Swansea won over the 90 mins anyway).

Nae luck pal.

I've only got a coupon on tomorrow:
Boro to beat Sheff United at 4/7
Celtic to beat ICT at 1/6
Dundee United to beat St Mirren at 7/10
Airdrie to beat Ayr at 4/5

Got a stupid double on too:
Hearts to beat Rangers at 9/2
Ayr to beat Airdrie at 5/2

I'm sure it'll be a hard game for us tomorrow. Seems that Hearts "have turned the corner" a wee bit. Hopefully we'll find it as easy as it was at Hampden although Hearts at Tynecastle are always really hard games. Important to win as well because i can see Celtic walking all over Caley.

Re: Midweek Football: 26th & 27th February, 2008.

PSG are beating Auxerre 1-0 just now which is sort of boring, I wanted to watch the best young manager in Europe guide his team to a 10-0 win.

Has Velicka been sold to that Nowegian club yet?

Hearts top scorer leaves and the club gets nothing cause he's a Kaunus player!

They are fucked. Not for tomorrow night, but in long term future.

In 2000, PSG was one of the 14 founder members of G14, with Ronaldinho on their books. Now they're 16th and have a whole bunch of shitty players along with a shitty manager. That's what happens when you over-extend your budget in a league that can't sustain it.

PSG are a massive team, 2nd biggest following in France. They should have a huge budget and be in Europe every year.
