| Re: Weekend Football: 8th & 9th March. Hibs were so average today, they offered so very little threat up front. Rangers deserved it and were denied a clear penalty although they never looked all that great either to be honest.
Turns out corporate hospitality makes rubbish games worth going to.
Let's hope for an OF cup final so even if Motherwell slip to 4th we still get into Europe.
In England I'm happy no matter who wins the cup as I like all the teams for differerent reasons.

| Re: Weekend Football: 8th & 9th March. Villarreal are beating Barcelona 1-0 at Camp Nou thanks to a penalty. Real Madrid winning earlier means this could bugger Barcelona right up. |

Planning a trip to Barca in May and the idea that the game will be meaningless is a bit gutting. |

Villarreal hit a free kick that the Barca keeper could only parry and it was hit into the net by an on-rushing striker; it was ruled offside and Barca could have equalised. Fucking referees.
Looks like the league is over, though. That's Real Madrid 8 points clear, and they don't have the Champions League to concern themselves with, while Barcelona do. |

| Re: Weekend Football: 8th & 9th March. It looks like Gretna are well and truly fuckaroo'd. They're in administration, need the SPL to bail them out just to remain in business long enough to play all their fixtures are played this season, have about 5 players left that will realistically bring in any transfer fee and they haven't done a thing about redeveloping Raydale.
I'd have felt sorrier for them even 6 months ago but since their fans have been nowhere to be seen this season, the cheif exec had the cheek to blame Dundee Utd for the attendance of 501 last week, the club did nothing about the stadium when other clubs almost went bust bringing theirs up to code my sympathy is in short supply for everyone except those who will imminently lose their jobs but even then that'll be a slight figure even by Division 1 standards.

| Re: Weekend Football: 8th & 9th March. Raydale aint really up to SFA standards either. They might get relegated to the 2nd or 3rd (depending on who goes up/comes down from the 2nd/1st) as the SFA are worried about large travelling supports.

| Re: Weekend Football: 8th & 9th March. Would Gretna being forced to the Second Division keep Morton up if they finish second bottom, ie no play off?

| Re: Weekend Football: 8th & 9th March. Unsure. When Airdrie United went bust, after the cheers, the relegated team kept their place. I think what would happen is 9th would stay up and 10th would go into the play offs.
