Flamini would be a blow to lose as looks likely. They could force Hleb to stay with 2 years on his contract so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Gilberto is good, but not great, so won't be too big a blow, they'll just nap some other French defensive midfielder.
I do think they do need to strengthen, not necessarily go out and blow the money on a major star, but to get several reinforcements in, with a few class players. Prob with Arsenal this season is they simply did not have a big enough, experienced squad. Quote:

Chris McCart to head up the new youth set-up at Celtic.
He's picked up some gems for Motherwell and has been heralded by many as the man responsible for Motherwell bringing through so many great young players in recent years. I'm sure he'll do a great job at Celtic and I'm sad to see him leave Fir Park.

Oh of course, the guy's been a great servant to Motherwell over many years as a player and a coach and he's moving onto bigger things and he deserves his chance to improve himself.
Just gutted that the Celtic have realised it's cheaper to just get the coach rather than waiting for the players to come thorugh at Motherwell and buy them then for millions.
