Rangers have been linked with Kyle Lafferty, Danny Shittu and Kenny Miller. I don't think Rangers can afford Lafferty but fingers crossed.

Wonder how long it is before Strachan puts a bid in.

Considering we've bid for Lafferty last summer and have been consistantly linked with Shittu for 2 seasons, I wouldn't be too surprised.

Kenny Miller's agent has told BBC Scotland that there has been no contact from Rangers regarding a summer move to Ibrox for the striker.

David Baldwin has not spoken to the Glasgow side about such a move, and that the striker's current club Derby have also had no contact with Rangers.

And he said the former Celtic player has a number of potential suitors.

"At the moment there are a few clubs interested in Kenny, but there has been no approach from Rangers," he said.

Miller has scored six goals in 30 games for the Pride Park side this season. And having had a previous stint at Rangers, Baldwin says hints of a return are just speculation.

"Obviously with Kenny having played for Rangers before, some people have played on that to suggest a return there," he said

He is currently on international duty in preparation for friday's friendly with the Czech Republic in Prague on Friday

The Greece international, who won an SPL championship medal after a four-month loan spell at Celtic Park, hopes to leave Manchester City for a long-term deal north of the border.

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan is keen to capture the £3m-rated striker but the 23-year-old is being hampered by the uncertainty at the City of Manchester Stadium where manager Sven-Goran Eriksson’s own future is in doubt.

Samaras’ agent, Lee Anderson, told the Scottish Sun newspaper: "Gordon wants to keep him and Georgios wants to stay.
"The player is clear in what he wants, but the problem is down to the confusion at City.
"The first thing I’ll do is find out from City chief executive Alistair Mackintosh what is going on."

Meanwhile, Celtic midfielder Massimo Donati is wanted by several Serie A clubs, according to his agent Andrea D’Amico.
The Italian arrived from AC Milan last summer for a fee of around £1.4m on a four-year deal but has spent much of the season on the bench, including the last seven SPL games of the season which Celtic won to retain their title.
D’Amico told the Scottish Daily Mail newspaper that he wants talks with the Parkhead club over his client’s future.

He said: "There is strong interest in Massimo from Serie A.
"I now have to speak to Peter Lawwell (chief executive) to discuss the situation further because we don’t know what will happen at Celtic next season.
"Massimo tells me that he has a close relationship with the manager, Gordon Strachan, but he was disappointed in not playing in the final games of the season.
"The manager assured him there was no problem and so Massimo wants to stay if there is a possibility of playing but if the manager is not happy and cannot give him that, then he should tell us."

But he's a no bad player for the likes of a mid-table serie-a side.
