KK knows scottish footy, a dont believe for a minute he would offer that. hes trying to tie N'Zogbia up on a long term deal aswell.

According to the Herald Steve Davis is signing today after Fulham lowered their asking price, they've also had an offer for £3.5m accepted from Blackburn. Pedro Mendes has been lined up if the Davis deal falls through but he wants £30k a week which is a pretty big stumbling block. | |

Aye Bobo's on £28k p/w apparently but he's the last of the old guard on that money, a relic of the Martin O'Neill era. It isn't as if Celtic haven't tried to punt him either! | |

I remember David Murray saying there is an "upper limit" for the wage they would pay Scottish players..Regardless of the fact that (i'm fairly sure) that's illegal.
I'm sure Cpt. Trackie is on the high 20's, maybe round about 30.

After the Leeds Utd debacle football is seen as a greater risk by banks so they're less willing to allow clubs to go into debt by splurging on fees and contracts as well.
