That's been the more important factor. Sure, he can bang away the goals against pish SPL teams and in the shitty Russian league (sure, there's money there, but only for three or four teams, the rest are dross).

I was reading the bit in one of the shit papers (can't mind if it was the Sun or Daily Rangers) yesterday about how Calderwood called for the players to have a meeting to voice their thoughts and MacNamara went a bit brutal with his verdict on the coaching and tactics, along with standing up for Calderwood and his number two slamming blame on the younger guys like Constatine. Apparently it was what was needed though, 'cos then Diamond stepped up and spoke.

Sounds like a decent clear-the-air, but it's a bit late to make a difference now.

I'm not entirely sure that Celtic will be shopping at that end of the market. God knows Kenny Miller and Garry O'Connor aren't Celtic quality.

I really still think celtic missed out by not selling out the money for him. Looking at the season when you guys for the majority havent been able to create that vital final product mr McFadden would have been that diamond in the rough you really needed. So in essence I completly agree there, he would be a really nice buy for the summer.

McFadden isn't consistent, he plays well every now and then but he's somehow achieved this image that he's amazing because of THAT goal.


As for O'Connor/Miller both can get to fuck, O'Connor is absolutely shite and Miller can never come back to Rangers, not after going to play for Celtic.
