First I've heard of it.

Not that it suprises me, right enough.
Anything to stop Rangers having a disadvantage eh?

Wouldn't be suprised if big moonbeams himself was bankrolling it!
Apparantly SPL clubs asking for an advance on their telly money before the end of the year isn't that rare. I'd assume Motherwell done it when they went into administration.

He could be using the cash for the new Parc De La Bigot to bankroll Gretna?
That'd explain the hold up of the build!

The SPL are paying Gretna, not Setanta?

Telly money...till the END OF THE SEASON?
Somehow I don't think that even makes a dent in Gretna's debt, probably doesn't even pay the players wages till the EOS.
Think about it.

Maybe Motherwell did, maybe the didn't..but the fact remains; They went into Administration, Gretna haven't.

Motherwell, Livingston and others have had emergency loans on the basis of predicted ticket sales for the rest of the season being given in advance, this is about the 4th or 5th time in the last 2/3 years it's happened.

Granted I don't know if its common practise outwith the SFA.

Mick it's gate money not telly revenues

9 million in debt is a fucking lot of money.

Its funny that they owe 23 quid in TV license money.

You really think Addy, both as a Dons fan and a future financial wotsit, is going to lie about that?

I just wanted to gain a wee bit more knowledge so I can be closer to the social enigma that is Addy.
