| Re: Weekend Football: 22nd & 23rd March, 2008. Aye, great performance by big Del Piero last night. Was skinning the Inter defence time and time again, for Juve to beat the league leaders 2-1.
Right, away to watch us play shitey Gretna. HAIL HAIL. (If I can remember how to get there..) |

P.S. Scott 'thug who forgot how to play football' Brown just got his 13th booking of the season, going to miss at least 1 OF game. |

| Re: Weekend Football: 22nd & 23rd March, 2008. Gutted fro Arsenal - thought they were gonna win it - esp whe the Chelsea Loyal showed thir true colours
"You don't know what you are doing"
"One Jose Mouriniho"
Chants started when they went 1-0 down and Grant made some big decision's Ballack went off - and straight down the tunnel, Ignoring his manager to go count his £160K weekley pay packet - and within 2 mins Drogba had scored and the cynics quickly shut up after that. |

If I was a Liverpool fan I wouldn't want Mascherano pulling on the jersey again this season. |

| Re: Weekend Football: 22nd & 23rd March, 2008. the Chelsea squad could do worse than charter a plane to Italy as I'd imagine a fair few will be in Serie A next season and more than one of todays starting XI will be @ Inter Mourinho.

Liverpool needed him to calm it - esp after Brown made it 1-0 and hope they'd get through to half time, but he was far too wound up for the game. |

| Re: Weekend Football: 22nd & 23rd March, 2008. The atmosphere at the Celtic game wasn't bad considering how woeful the performance was. 3-0 flattered us, and I'm not confident about this Saturday coming now. McGeady appears to be off the boil, Nakamura still looks like a guy that's missed half the season, Scott Brown looks like he's worth about 25 pence.. Samaras injected a bit of life into us when he came on, but why he didn't start I will never know.
Nice to see Skippy getting a goal, should do his confidence the world of good coming into the Old Firm, hopefully. |

Brown not suspended for Sat?
Is Skippy going to be playing for you? - He supposed to be off to China for a pointless friendly being played at 13,000 feet (or something like that) |

Celtic striker Scott McDonald hopes to notch the goals which will propel his side into a Scottish Cup semi-final against Queen of the South when Aberdeen visit Parkhead tonight.
The 300-mile journey the visitors face is as nothing to the endurance test the 24-year-old will face next week ahead of the crucial Old Firm meeting at Ibrox on March 29.
McDonald is part of the Australian squad which will face China in Kunming's Tuodong Stadium, some 6233 feet above sea level, in a qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup finals just three days earlier.
The long-haul journey is, however, the least of his problems: as a result of the rarefied climate, the Australian Football Federation have issued McDonald with an asthma inhaler to help him get through the match. |
