Always seems you have a problem with anyone saying anything against any part of Celtic, even when it's a Celtic fan saying it.
I love the Club more than I love most things, but It's not always clear cut & rosey like the PLC makes out.
I've not asked you to even read it, never mind swallow it, but I'm sure there will be some lads at the polo lounge later who might utter those words to you later

I've criticised Strachan, course I have. But your criticism of Strachan, the board or the team doesn't make you anymore or less of a supporter. People admire Strachan and I can see why, people hate him and I can see that too.
But it suits bangers like yourself to give it the old "LA LA LA I'M NOT LISTENING" and then call yourself real supports. Honestly, away back to TheHuddleBoard

It also allows Strachan to stay to keep making profit for the side and for the fans to have their "celtic minded leader" on board. | Why not go for someone like Peter Grant then?
The problem that Lennon now faces if going from being one of the players to one of the coaches of his old team mates.
When McCoist went back to Rangers as assistant manager - nearly 10 years after he played for the club - there was only a one player that would have known him from his playing days - Barry Ferguson
Durrant was away from Ibrox for 7 years and when he returned it was as coach of under 19's and later on he was coach of the reserve team - He dealt with no ex team mates.
The majority of Celtic's current players know Lennon and know what he'd get upto in his free time, now he'd got to tell them to not go out drinking and womanising - It's going to be difficult, given thats what he was doing last season. |

| Re: Celtic V Rangers: 16/04/2008 Peter Grant is in the management game these days, doubt he'd be interested in being someones third or 4th right hand man.
Plus, I think I speak for the majoirty of the support when I say that Lennons signing strikes a bigger chord than grants would because of recent history/memory....and the fact he is a bit of a hot head & hates Rangers.
Definatly a better appointment, although I still believe the board were more to do with it than Strachan was. Quote:

The board didn't "talk up" their business, they, in my opinion panic'd about the rising resentment for Strachan and got someone in to try and curb it.
As, I've said, I think its a good appointment.
I hope it works. Fucking love Lenny and that, I just hate the fact that I can't see past the boards snakey-ways to the point where all I can think about was that they did it to "brush" Strachans mess under the carpet rather than to really benefit the club.
Sad state of affairs that I'm thinking about it, but that's what I've come to expect. Quote: |

| Never said it did.
I just think it makes you more blinkered than I, which is my opinion, not fact. (not this post point specifically, but alot of your points about celtic always have the sun shining out their back passage. Fair play to you, but I'm always so easy to jump on that side of things)
It's all opinion
We'll just leave it for another thread & another day, since this is about us skelping the mankies :thumbsup Quote:

Never posted on there in my puff.
Get you at the game Mr Real "supports"?

| Re: Celtic V Rangers: 16/04/2008 Right. Tomorrow. Will this be the Bhoys finally become Mhen? Will Nakamura actually show up in an Old Firm match? Will Gordon Strachan, for the first time, outfox Walter Smith?
No, No and No.
I'm going for the 1-0 tomorrow. Darcheville to score. Rangers are a great bet @ 7/4. But I sense a draw
Brown and Thomson both out through suspension.
C'mon the Gers.

| Re: Celtic V Rangers: 16/04/2008 Haha. I love how optimistic you are.
Its a must win game for youse.
But this is our season.
We are 5 wins away from the title (and thats discounting the two OF matches)
If we win, we only need to win 3 out of 7.
Oh hell yes.
