Yep. At least Aberdeen have proven we can reach the last 32 of the UEFA Cup on our current strength, regardless of how patchy we are. This one needs to turn around, and fast, for the good of Scotland!

Didn't Gretna qualify for Europe that way?

Scenario is Rangres could be beaten by Thistle tomorrow and the other semi final will be between Thistle & St Johnstone..

Yes, but look how far they got! For the good of the cooefficient it would be far better if Aberdeen got into Europe than QOS, because at least Aberdeen have a shot at winning a couple of matches.

I would much rather the novelty of QotS in Europe than watching Aberdeen get pumped by some big guns like Bayern.

Mind the Dons done well in the first leg, just couldn't defend well.

Did our coefficient improve then?

I suspect it was more to do with Celtic getting so far in the CL and Rangers going strong in the Wafer cup.
