| Re: SPL Awards Well deserved both. Smith was a shoe-in really and Cuellar has been outstanding all season so good to see him rewarded. Quote:

Best Club Media Relations - Kilmarnock | Excellent stuff, always nice to see them win some stuff. Got my season ticket ordered for next season as well.
Scott Anson was linked with a move to Rangers pre-season in the stands/pubs around Kilmarnock - I can see him being the next Naismith/Boyd and making the breakthrough in the next few years before moving on after a season.
e: I mean Naismith and Boyd as in moving on to a bigger team quickly, he's not a striker. |

| Re: SPL Awards Well Rangers did buy Rory Loy before he was anywhere near the Killie first team as well. Wouldn't surprise me.
They're all big bluenoses in Ayrshire anyway.

| Re: SPL Awards http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...531637&cc=5739 Quote: Rangers defender Carlos Cuellar has won the Scottish Football Writers` Player of the Year award.
The Spaniard had already claimed the Clydesdale Bank Premier League prize.
The 26-year-old beat Celtic winger Aiden McGeady, who won the PFA Scotland award, to the prize.
The centre-back, whose superb defensive display helped Rangers shut out Fiorentina in midweek to reach the UEFA Cup final, has adapted seamlessly to Scottish football since a Ł2.4million move from Osasuna last summer. 'I am really happy with the award,' he said. 'It is not only recognition for myself but for all the hard work of the whole team. It is an honour for me to receive it. 'A big factor in my first season here has been the competitiveness of the squad because we have a really good group of players here.'
| I think the UEFA Cup run has won him the title in itself, he was really good against Fiorentina, Werder and Sporting. Congratulations to big Ugly Betty. |
