| Re: Season to be extended.. Still but we got horsed 3-0 at home. There was no way of knowing we would come all this way. It was only against Sporting when we won 2-0 I really started believing we could win the thing.
The intention was having more time to prepare for a game where we needed a draw to through to the last 16 of the CL. It didn't work.

| Re: Season to be extended.. I couldn't care if Rangers get an extension or not but Murray and Smith being livid about it is absolutely, side-splitting hilarious...seriously funny shit.
Especially when big Watty belts out with this last month... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...rs/7328229.stm

Maybe not entirely Rangers fault, but the other points still stand.
Coincidently; I've just noticed that there was a period when we actually played 4 GAMES in 10 DAYS this season already (dropping 4 points in the process to St Mirren & Hearts). Where was the media then?
It's a shambles of a situation, and is getting more lulz by the minute with the tirades Bain, Murray and Watty are hitting out with as they prepare to shite themselves for the run in, rather than just staying silent, dignified, getting on with it, and concentrating on bringing home another 3 trophies.

They might get a Hollywood film out of it this way. |

Scotland manager George Burley has criticised the Scottish Premier League fixture list for failing to help Rangers ahead of the Uefa Cup final.
"I think it's ridiculous that I'm naming the squad and Rangers still have seven games to play," he said ahead of Scotland's game with Czech Republic.
"They are being punished for their success in reaching the Uefa Cup final.
"And it's something that the SPL and everyone in Scottish football has got to look at."

| I think it's safe to say that'd be like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, there, you fat Dutch bastard. The SPL is already a laughing stock.
It's a league where this season the bottom club is being funded by the organisation that runs it. The very same organisation that plunged teams like St. Mirren (undersoil heating for one season) into higher levels of debt and kept Falkirk in division one (and should have done the same to Gretna). The decision to allow Gretna to use Fir Park sure looked clever after Motherwell's pitch ended up more swampy than a.. well, swamp, eh? |
