Wasn't it Dundee United? They were playing Motherwell when O'Donnell died on the pitch and a few of the players were extremely traumatised, but were forced to play by the SPL anyway.

Generally I agree with the gist of the thread in that the SPL is a shockingly poorly managed league, and is the laughing stock of the world.

The way this thread is going is Rangers fans complaining at the injustice, Celtic fans countering it by saying it's justice, when what they actually mean is "we're gonna justify this because it suits us".

Pish thread. Both sides should just get on with it, I agree with Jaemi.

We've 4 or 5 players supposed to be away on international duty BEFORE our last game, and they are having to dingy their country because the SPL is kissing fat murrays arse.

A run of three away games in a row at the end of the season.

Not only managed a game on the Saturday preceding a midweek AWAY tie in Romania, but squeezed in a cheeky match at home to West Ham on the Monday before they flew out.

Away to Fulham on the SUNDAY before the UEFA Cup final. Not the Saturday that Rangers are being asked to play on, but the SUNDAY.

Now, according to Lord Murray's self-declared rules, that should mean we all consider the English Premiership the joke of world football. Don't we? Anyone?

Secondly, and non-Middlesbrough related this year, the FA Cup is scheduled four days before the Champions League final. Is Darth Murray seriously trying to tell us that this would have been moved should Chelsea or Man United have been gracing the Wembley Turf?"

You've HAD you're extention (that you never, and will never ask for (tm) Watty 2008), you've been ALLOWED to postponed matches already (cuz dats wutz sellick goat!!!1123!!), and you've still a cheek to whine.
