| Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008. Big game for us today, and I have the feeling if we don't get a win today we won't be winning the league. Yes, I know we can drop 4 points between now and the end of the season and still win, but I just feel if we lose today, we will drop points somewhere else.
Cousin will start today I think, hope the crowd don't get on his back about thursday. And DMB is back in the squad, hopefully he gets a run out.

Goal kick taken long by Neil Alexander (Rangers). 28:54

Holly Foxglove is smashing things as there is a disallowed goal! Ipswich think they're 1-0 up against Hull, but Shefki Kuqi is ruled offside. The Town bench are furious. Promoted: West Brom, Stoke Play-offs: Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Sheff Utd Relegated: Southampton, Scunthorpe, Colchester
e: e: COME ON SOUTHAMPTON YOU BASTARDS! They've got it back to 1-1.

| Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008. This is incredibly exciting. The Championship having a far better run-in than the 'best league in the world (tm)', who'd have thunk it!
It's half time in all of the Championship games and as it stands: Promoted: West Brom, Stoke. Play-offs: Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Watford. Relegated: Southampton, Scunthorpe, Colchester. |

| Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008. In other news, since Juventus secured a Champions League place last week with a vital win, the fourth place is up for grabs with the Milan v Inter derby being 0-0 at half time, while Fiorentina are down 1-0 away at Cagliari. If Milan can manage to sneak a victory over Inter in the second half (which is by no means impossible - they've had the lion's share of the ball and good chances) then they can go a long way to pipping Fiorentina to fourth.
I should say that before the games started that Milan were two points behind Fiorentina, so if they can win the go above this week. BUT, if Inter win this derby they retain the Serie A title in front of their rivals - hence Milan are going all out for this one. |

YES!
Round-up: Arsenal up 1-0 and it's full time, but the game was SHITE, Kevin McNaughton makes it 2-0 for Cardiff, Charlton score a third to secure the points against Coventry who could be slipping into relegation, and Stern John YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARD! Southampton are up 2-1!
As it stands Leicester could be fucked: Promoted: West Brom, Stoke Play-offs: Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Watford Relegated: Leicester, Scunthorpe, Colchester |

| Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008. That's the fucking game, Hibernian! 0-0 full time and the Celtic title bid lives on.
Fiorentina lost, and if Milan can hold on for a few minutes of added time then they've stopped Inter winning the league this week, and they leapfrog Fiorentina into the fourth Champions League place. Have some of that, Fiorentina, you shower of useless tossers.
Stoke are promoted, and Southampton get the three points after hanging on with ten men for the last part of the game. Ipswich won their game, but other results haven't gone their way I'm afraid, and it looks like Leicester are doomed to relegation.
e: Yep, confirmed. Leicester are relegated. Promoted: West Brom, Stoke Play-offs: Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Watford Relegated: Leicester, Scunthorpe, Colchester |

| Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008. Think I'll nip down to the bookies and put money on Stoke doing a Derby next season.
Edit: Great result for Villa today - Arsenal's victory keeps our slim hopes of an automatic European place alive.
