Belgium And Holland are considering - and these plans are very preliminary - having some sort of merged league and probably inviting Luxembourg along for laughs.

If Motherwell get anything off Celtic the league's over but if we don't but then take points off Rangers on wednesday then the league's wide open.

I am all nervy at the moment. Ipswich will fuck up. Just as they always do, but it doesn't stop me thinking "this time..."

Caldwell playing another good game so far, if he keeps up his performance for the rest of the game, and the last two shifts he's put in, i'd welcome him into the scotland back four.

He's covering alot of baldes work atm. That's probably whats impressing me.

Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008.

I should point out that Cristiano Ronaldo has made it 2-0 for Manchester United after just 23 minutes. So much for Arsenal sneaking the title.

e: Big Balde almost gives away a free kick right on the edge of the box. Steady on, fella. That's 0-0 at half-time. Come on to fuck, Celtic.

e: e: Carlos Tevez makes it 3-0 after 25 minutes, I'm switching to the United game for 15 minutes!

This is a fantastic game of football. It's only just after half an hour and there have been four goals. It looked like it came off Ashton's shin, but it was still a cracking take for such a big game.

e: As I say that Manchester United clear the ball off their own line after a well worked West Ham free kick. Christ, game on!

Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008.

Hahaha! Red card for Nani!

He 'head-butted' Lucas Neil and threw himself to the floor.

So Manchester United are down to ten men after 37 minutes, and are up 3-1. Could Arsenal squeeze back the title?

COME ON WEST HAM.

Re: Week of Football: 3rd through 7th May, 2008.

Fuck me, Strachan. He's got Mark Wilson warming up.

Also, I await Samaras coming on for McDonald despite him being more involved that Vennegoor of Hesselink. Oh, and no doubt Scott Brown on for someone central - perhaps Robson since he's done not so bad.
