Motherwell striker Ross McCormack is one of five uncapped players in George Burley's Scotland squad to face the Czech Republic in Prague on 30 May. Rangers pair Kevin Thomson and Steven Whittaker, Hearts defender Christophe Berra and West Brom midfielder James Morrison could win their first caps.

Scott Brown is getting surgery at the end of the season, and Captain Courageous Barry Ferguson is being left out along with David Weir.

Am I the only person who thinks Boyd will never be a starter for Scotland AND Rangers until he stops being such a lazy cunt?

I think reasons for people not playing

Brown and Ferguson are both having surgery, Weir is knackered, McGregor is injured. I thought none of the Celtic players could play as they were having a friendly in Japan? Probably will be a few call-offs, as to be expected this time of year.
