Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it.

So where was his linesman for the penalty shout? The next time, when United scored, the linesman flagged for offside.

Way to lay the blame on the linesman there, Mr.McCurry!

That's just actually set himself up to get hung.

He's admitted on the penalty instance he didn't have a clear view, BUT COMPLETELY NEGLECTED TO CONSULT HIS ASSISTANT.

What the fuck?!

I'm not baying for blood like others, but he should not be allowed near another top class game again.

Where was his linesman when he was "caught out of position" for the penalty?
MIA, clearly.

EDIT:***Stew beat me to it.***

We all know nothing will happen, even Levein knows.
Mike McCurry is a cheat.

How is Mike McCurry a cheat? What evidence do you have for this?

Presumably McCurry has also 'forgotten' that benefit of the doubt goes to the attacking team in any 50-50 situation. Take that in tandem with the other points made in this thread, and you've either got a cheat or an incompetent referee. Think he could do with a spell in the lower divisions, to be honest.

That's only with offside decisions, doesn't apply to the rest. A referee has to be 100% sure to award a foul.

Stand corrected there, although with regards the David Robertson incident surely it could apply?

He cheated Dundee United out of at least a point at the weekend - the evidence is the Rangers v Dundee Utd game on the 10th May, KO 12:30. Go back and watch it if you need further evidence.

Not really. The linesman for some reason thought the ball hit David Roberston and if he did think that then he was a good yard offside so there wasn't really any doubt about him being in an offside position. It applies if they're level and the linesman not too sure if you get what i mean.

I stopped answering him mate, anyone reading the thread can see it's been explained already, at least once.
Cue his same response - "OMG PARANOIA LOL".
Heard it.

Mike McCurry - a shite bag & a cheating bastard.

Aye, Craig Levein & his lawyer have nae proof aswell, pair of para-bastards.
Add William (Bobby) Williamson to the "para" list aswell, and just about anyone who isn't a Rangers fan, after Saturday.

If you have a sufficient knowledge of the legal system to show how you would proof any evidence of wrong-doing has taken place go ahead.

What evidence? The ref made a couple of mistakes and he's said why he made the decisions. Is Iain Brines a cheat because he gave a handball against Zander Diamond a couple of weeks ago? No, he's a ref, he's human. He came out and admitted he made a howler and that's that. McCurry admits he made a couple of howlers and he's now a cheat? The only people who are thick as fuck are the people who are saying that McCurry's a cheat, pure and simple.

And now the Scotsport panel are the jury? I've just about heard all the crap rants on this board about it but that takes the biscuit, bravo
