Not trying to have a go or anything, but that's how it looks from a neutral. |

Four BIG BIG calls, and he fucked them.
The guy has a history of making huge errors in matches involving Rangers (in their favour), and we (along with craig levein, amongst others) believe he should be investigated for it.
His "apology" or "explanation" isn't good enough, and inexplicably, he has made note of the fact he consulted his linesman/assistant for one decision, and not the other (despite stating he didn't have a clear view, therefore needing a second opinion).
If anyone with a brain has seen the decisions (except Rosco, clearly) they will too, agree, (along with the majority of the nation) that they were ALL stonewall decisions. They weren't hard decisions to make - especially for a "top" professional referee. Fact; Mike McCurry has a catalogue of not just bad decisions, but really really bad decisions, costing team's points against SS Rangers FC.
So, to conclude for Senior Thick Slice;
In most peoples opinion, one of two things occurred.
1. Mike McCurry had a shocker. So bad were the decisions, that infact, he should never referee a top flight game again or
2. Reverend Mike McCurry saw the decisions and straight up 'bottled it' because he of the stigma attatched to giving decisions against Rangers, at home, in a crunch match. Which is bias, favouring one team over another, and therefore cheating.
Personally, I believe number 2.
You don't have to agree, Rosco the Bosco, but at least understand, that this is a view point not just of mine, not just of the so called "paranoid" Celtic support, but of many a manager, pundit, player, and fan alike. | Look, i know what you're trying to say and you've made your viewpoint perfectly obvious but i'm saying that i think you're wrong because you can't say that someone is cheating because they have made the wrong decision. Obviously Celtic fans and managers of other teams are going to say that we get decisions - they're hardly talking from a neutral viewpoint are they? You take a big leap between human error and cheating and there's no real concrete evidence for this whatsoever so give it a rest.
Anyway, Levein and various others will no doubt succeed - now refs will be scared to give a decision for Rangers in case of being accused of being biased or cheating so they'll win in that respect. Being able to show that McCurry deliberately made decisions to favour Rangers, not a hope in hell and i think it's because it's just not true. |

Not trying to have a go or anything, but that's how it looks from a neutral. | Of course I am a bitter Celtic fan, that result could have cost us the league.
What kind of Celtic fan would I be if I wasn't?
Seems like a kind of ridiculous observation to me. |

If you leave it out I think more people will be willing to discuss your point of view. |

| Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it. Eh, No I didn't.
My points are all valid.
I'm not complaining about Mike McCurry because "I pa-yooor hate the Ranjurz" , I'm complaining because his blatant bias could cost us the league.
I'm bitter that what I consider to be cheating, could cost my team, yes.
The same as Craig Levein is bitter that the refs decisions cost them a uefa cup run and £125,000.
What's wrong with that?
Maybe bitter is the wrong word? If it makes it easier for you to understand and address my points - switch any instance of "bitter" with "pissed off" |

| Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it. Mike McCurry hasn't lost us the league, the poor performances by Celtic's players and our manager have lost us the league.
Craig Levein is angry that a refereeing decision could have cost his team a chance at European football and a higher league position, which is understandable. I don't see why we need twenty posts going round in circles when no-one is going to change anyone elses opinion on it. |

I'll re-phrased.
He has possibly cost us ANOTHER CHANCE to win the league. |

He has possibly cost us ANOTHER CHANCE to win the league. | I don't particularly care about Rangers, or Dundee United, or the referee who made a few mistakes. I care that Celtic appear to have thrown the league away this year through poor performances by the players, and/or tactics and motivation by the manager. If you'd rather go on and on about how some guy who's spent years refereeing is some sort of cheat and/or there is a conspiracy then that's your prerogative, but I've read you make the same posts over and over again and what is is getting you? Is Gordon Smith going to read it and think, " Oh, snap. Best get that game replayed so that Celtic have a slim chance of winning the league thanks to someone else slipping up rather than them deserving it." It's not going to happen and of course I'd take the league if we win it when Rangers slip up, but it's happened and there's nothing you, or I can do about it so let's stop going round in frickin' circles, eh? |

Blame Celtic, not McCurry.
