Due to the fact that Barry Ferguson seems to be non-existent in most of the games I catch with Rangers in it (Old Firms and European games) it's more Nacho Novo that gets his team out of bother these days. It's like my hate for Cristiano Ronaldo 'cos he carries Man United this season. I always get shouted down whenever I say it, but if it wasn't for him United would be well behind Chelsea in the league. |

We will never know unless they are investigated.
Sadly, the only person to be investigated today, will be Craig Levein.
The only man in the country to stand up to them.
Levein's interview went along the lines of;
"We shouldn't of bothered turning up, as no matter what happened, McCurry wasn't going to let us win. Today was all about Rangers. Rangers Must Win, Rangers cannot lose today"
Fucking well in Craigy
Get them fuckin' telt.

Celtic benefit from ref's mistakes so that voids the whole conspiracy thing.
Anyway the game. Super Nacho. Nacho No Goals, ind you used to call him that Stew? What a goal the second was. No way I thought he was scoring.
What happened wae Cousin? I missed him getting booked.
Alexander celebrating with the CR was awesome.
TO MANCHESTER.
PS Chris, this tick tock patter is shite. |
Nup i agree with Levin, it was Rangers game, was all about rangers not dundee united. I mean not just the 2 shocking decisions, but cousin sticking the nut on lee wilike and broadfoot punching noel hunt. All in the one game, guys a fucking baw. |

| Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it. Aye? I'll need to catch The Full SPL then.
Cousin needs to control his temper or get to fuck. Darcheville may not last a full game but i'd take him over Cousin any day. More desire.
Saying that, Nacho was chasing everything today. Wouldn't give up. Thats what the Rangers fans love about him. What a guy. If Cuellar wasn't here, he'd be my player of the year at Rangers.
When did Broadfoot punch Noel Cunt?
Haven't saw Leveins interview.
At the end of the day, we got the run of luck today that Celtic have been riding the last month or so. So come off it lads.

Cousin should of walked.
Penalty denied.
Goal chopped off.
Lets face it - Could Mike McCurry have done anything else to stop Dundee Utd getting anything from the match?
Apparently, this guy, is the best ref in country.

I'm not gonna start a whole tit for tat thing but i'll mention two games where you should have only got 1 point instead of 3. Aberdeen & St Mirren.

| Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it. Made a mistake.
120% a booking.
I don't actually have a problem with it, but I've seen at least 2 Celtic players booked for doing it/attempting it.
What are the rules?
Clarification needed, or its bias.
All players had stopped for the refs whistle before zander diamond scored. Point 1, VOID. We also scored minutes before, VOID.
St Mirren - we got a free kick. not a penalty. not a goal disallowed. a free kick, that was justified by the way, contact was made, lets not kid on there wasn't.
If you make contact with the player and not the ball, it's a freekick.
I'll not be stupid about it - they aren't ALL out to get us. Most of them are just shite.
Mike McCurry is a Rangers fan, and is at very least, bias towards Rangers.

| Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it. Levein's interview is embedded in the page here.. The referee was an utter shambles today. I don't buy the whole conspiracy thing, but Levein is right when he says the referee bottled it. The assistant linesman is just as culpable, to be honest, he should have had a good view of both the 'penalty' and the 'goal'. Cousin not getting sent off is forgivable, if only because I didn't notice that he'd headbutted Wilkie until the replay. Having said that, if Wilkie had went down clutching his face, then it would've been a very different story.
Anyway, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter much - I expected Rangers to get three points today (they were at home, after all) - the real tests will be the games away at Motherwell's shitty pitch and up at Aberdeen. Celtic just need to make sure that they keep winning.
