heh, I liked the comment there when the ref had to go off.

"He's got something in his eye. So that's been the problem all these years".

Novo's 2 goals were brilliant. Take the wee man off and wrap him in cotton wool, he has to start on Wednesday.

Wonder if there will be the same kind of controversy stirred over McCurry's refusal
to give United a penalty as there was with the award of a corner by Steve Conroy last week?

Crystal Palace 0-1 Bristol City, and the game is quite good. Scott Sinclair from Chelsea on loan has been absolutely brilliant out on the flank, taking on defenders and getting crosses in - he's going to be a good player if he gets regular minutes rather than staying in Chelsea's reserve team.

Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it.

Officials have had a nightmare in this game. I can't blame the ref for the game, as it took 3 or 4 replays for the goal, as it did look like it was off hunt. But the penalty one is a bit of a shite decision, as there are two officials watching it, not just one.

Lucky break for us, although we have had a good few shite offsides against us... first half was excellent aswell.

Harsh for utd, but they didn't realy deserve anything as I can only see one particularly shite call. Happens to all teams when we don't get a break, just comes off worse when its the old firm (yes, both teams).

Side note: Cousin should never get a game for us again.

What a game! Crystal Palace came back to 1-1 and five minutes from the end big David Noble popped up with a 30-yard drive to give Bristol City the 2-1 advantage for the final leg of the Championship semi-final play-off.

Am i the only one that thinks that 'stonewaller' wasn't actually a stonewaller? Bit shitty for United with the disallowed goal but again we well deserved to win the game. We shouldn't have taken our foot off the gas though, the chance was there today to win by 3 or 4.

Im sure the same thing happened recently with an offside in a liverpool or chealsea game, cant for the life of me remember which one it was.

EDIT: It was the champions league second leg, chelsea got a goal ruled offside 5 minutes into extra time.

Brother McCurry at the cheating AGAIN.

Anyone see the seagull shit in his eye?
Brilliance, & fully deserved.

Another close one...but will it last another 3 games?

Re: Weekend Football: 10th -> 15th May - Looks like we've made it.

I REALLY recommend that if you guys aren't doing anything else that you watch the final of the The FA Carlsberg Trophy just now. It's Ebbsfleet United vs Torquay United, and the interesting hook for me is that Ebbsfleet are the team that got bought over by a bunch of people on-line who all chipped in £35 to own a share of the club - they haven't yet, but they have the option to have a referendum on whether or not they can have team line-up influence too.

Give it a try, lads. It might not be pretty, but it's a final where these guys might never get to Wembley again.

I have never been for the whole conspiracy thing, like ever. But i there is no other way to explain the ref today by saying he just didn't want rangers to lose. Its no like they where close decisions.
