| Re: Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 Read this on teletext today when I bothered coming home. I guess we all knew it was coming but, still, a shock to see it in big letters on Ceefax's football bit.
Nice gesture by Rangers to cancel their wee bus tour round Glasgow as well. Not really the time for celebrations.

A nice touch was the Rangers Scarves that were placed around, a few Rangers fans came when I was there and they were greeted with a round of applause. | Seen that on the news, very classy of them.
Nae Partick fans? Oh wait there is none...

There you go. You just need to put around it.
Horrible, horrible news though. A great loss to the Scottish game and a legend. RIP.

| Re: Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 Evening Times ads are quite insensitive "Tommy Burns Dead", not "Passed Away" or "Loses Battle"... just "Dead". Seemed really harsh to me.
