| Re: Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 Tommy Burns jumping on the pile of players after the Spartak game was magic.
That just showed you how much he still loved the club.
But it's always kind of trivial when someone like this dies, to constantly talk about the football/music/movies because at the end of the day there are more important things in life. |

So many tributes from all fans... sad when it has to be something like this to bring scottish football fans together. But it's a great mark of respect for the guy, thats put sop much into club and country.
(I steered clear of putting a scarf down though, I went out of respect, not for a round of applause.)

| Re: Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 A genuinely lovely guy is gone. That's all I can really say about it. Football doesn't even come into it. R.I.P., Tommy, and thanks for everything.

I've just finished watching the bits and bobs on TV/BBC news site. Billy Stark said some really lovely things. |

Imagine 10'000+ people turning up to watch your coffin pass.
Heartbreaking stuff the day. |
