| Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 Quote:
It is with great sadness that Celtic Football Club confirmed this morning that Tommy Burns has passed away. Tommy, a true Celtic Legend and wonderful man will be sadly missed by us all. Clearly, our thoughts are very much with Tommy's wife Rosemary and his family at this extremely difficult time.
A further announcement will be issued in due course.
| Thoughts are with his family.
God bless. |

| Re: Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 Fucking hell. I knew he was ill and I saw the rumours a few weeks back but I genuinely didn't think it was going to come to this.
RIP, and thoughts are with his family. |

He was a great player, a good manager and a well liked and respected man by many. A loss to Scottish football.

| Re: Tommy Burns 16/12/56 - 15/5/08 Tommy was one of the most pleasant people I have ever met. When Mogga's first wife was ill with cancer Mogga bought her some wigs to wear after she lost her hair following chemo treatment. She prefered not to wear them as they were hot but dared Tony to wear one to work. He did and was sitting in a bath after a training session with the wig when Tommy walked past without his glasses on heading for a shower. He did a double take and came back thinking some hot women was taking a bath. For this and many reasons I have thought highly of Tommy for many many years.
R.I.P.
