| Hughes becomes Man City manager and Ince set to be Blackburn boss http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ty/7431155.stm Quote: Mark Hughes has been appointed as the new manager of Manchester City after signing a three-year contract.
Hughes held talks with the City hierarchy in London on Tuesday evening and agreed to leave Blackburn after a second round of talks.
| A strange one, I'd have thought they'd have wanted someone with more experience of winning things as a manager.
Oh, and it looks like Ronaldinho is another step closer to signing for Manchester City, and now expect David Bentley, Santa Cruz and every other half-decent Blackburn Rovers player to be linked to Manchester City.
OH - guess who's linked with the Blackburn job? Alan fucking Shearer. |

| Re: Hughes becomes Man City manager. Hughes is a good Manager.
About time someone with money to spend took a punt on an British manager.
Very shrewd appointment in my opinion.

| Re: Hughes becomes Man City manager. Wonder if he will get the sack if they go on a poor run, despite still meeting the initial targets for the season...
