Its a good appointment, but I just wonder why big clubs take international coaches on rather than club managers. Fair enough it's better for less well off teams like rangers and the likes to bring in an international manager to work with what they have... but teams like chelsea, barca etc get a massive transfer budget, and the only thing scolari would have been scouting for 6 years would have been portuguese players.
Plus the change in daily training etc.
