| Goal of the decade?
This will be a hard one to choose, will be interesting to see what comes out on top. Quote:
Mitre's SPL Goal of the Decade
To celebrate ten years of the Scottish Premier League, the SPL has teamed up with its official ball sponsor, Mitre, the Scottish Sun and Setanta Sports to decide the ‘Mitre Goal of the Decade’.
The SPL is calling for fans to help create the shortlist of ten goals by voting for their favourite from the past ten years. Fans who submit a nomination will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten pairs of tickets to see their favourite SPL club in action.
Only goals scored in the SPL from season 1998/99 to 2007/2008 will be valid for entry.
All you have to do to have your say in the shortlist is email enquiries@scotprem.com with the following information:
- Name of goalscorer
- Opposition
- Match date or season of goal scored
- Entrant’s name
- Contact details
- Team you support
Nominations must be submitted by Friday 4 July.
The ten top goals will be unveiled in the Scottish Sun and on Setanta Sports on Monday 14 July. For two weeks fans will be able to watch the footage and vote online for the ‘Mitre SPL Goal of the Decade’.
There will be loads of football prizes up for grabs throughout the two weeks including Mitre football equipment and SPL tickets.

This is a toughie, there's loads to choose from. First one that came to mind was Lovenkrands overhead kick against Aberdeen but that's not the best, although it was a topper. Is it SPL goals only? | |

SPL goals - either Nakamuras against the baddies.
McDonalds goal (I think?) against aberdeen (there one whereMcGeady beat about 4 players with a twirl and chipped it over the keeper for him to head home.
Build up to that was amazing.
Clearly the best goal ever is the goal thats on youtube from an indoor 5'asides game.

Always remember big Dado's goal in the 3-1 game a few years back as one of the better ones.
Latapy's goal in the 6-2 Edinburgh derby was a fucking peach n'all.

i agree with semp on this, i also loved maloneys against rangers a couple of years ago aswell, big 40 yard effort
