| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) Celtic have been pretty rubbish in the first half. Missing JVoH and Sammy, lucky not to be losing. ICT have played well, to be fair to them. Quote:

After about 35 minutes, Maloney has been pushed up front and Robson shifted out to the left.

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) 1-2 now, Wood scoring from about two yards out. Terrible defending. Quite a good game, now. I can see ICT equalising, unfortunately.

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) It's finished 1-2. We weren't great today, but did enough to deserve the win. If Caldwell has a serious injury then we're fucked. Loovens and McManus looked fucking AWFUL in the last 10 minutes.

In EPL news, Carlos Cuellar and Mikael Silvestre are making their league debuts for their new clubs Aston Villa and Arsenal. Should be interesting for Arsenal at least. With Gallas out and Silvestre in, I can see Arsenal being a lot more solid in defence and winning this one. |

Then the story changed to Samaras being injured and not being able to play today, or Tuesday. Strange, maybe just crossed wires though - although Strachan is stubborn enough to leave someone out for arriving back late, or shagging his daughter. |

Caldwell has stitches in his foot apparently, but I'd be surprised if that keeps him out of Tuesday's game. Crosas probably wouldn't have started anyway, so his injury isn't as big a blow as Sammy or JVoH being out.
Chelsea won 5-0 btw. Kalou scored two, Lampard got one, Belletti got one and Malouda got one.
Heskey's been dropped by Wigan for the Liverpool game.
