| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) It was in Airdrie, not really home. In fact the place most Motherwell fans hate most.
However, yeah we deserve the slagging. Listened to the game on the radio and by all accounts we played at pre season friendly pace for most of the game and didn't look dangerous until the last 20 minutes. Complete farce but we've got a week to sort ourselves out and 90 minutes in Wales to turn it around.

Greenock Morton are popularly known as 'The Unwashed' - a tradition which pre-dates the club's renaming in 1994 to celebrate the links with its home town of Greenock.

We played them today in a friendly (lost 3-0) and had Simon Donnelly on as a trialist. |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) Leyton Orient 6 - 1 Newcastle.
Freak results over the summer are not uncommon but this wasn't a youthful Newcastle side, or one made-up of trialists, but arguably their strongest XI.
A roll-call of Krul, Beye, Enrique, Taylor, Coloccini, Barton, Duff, Nolan, Gutierrez, Smith and Martins

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) Celtic ran riot the other day against that Egyptian mob.
5-0 and another good performance by all accounts.
Spurs this afternoon and from what people are saying it'll be a starting 11 made up mostly of fringe and reserve players.
